The Mantilla is the most architectural piece in the Signature Collection. Worn over the shoulders rather than crown to floor, it frames the gown rather than fighting it — a Spanish silhouette in French Chantilly, traceable in bridal photography to the earliest decades of the form.
We hand-grade every meter of lace before it enters the atelier. Mantillas live or die on the trim — too dense and the silhouette feels heavy, too sparse and the romance is gone. We've spent ten years finding the balance.
The photography that comes back from Mantilla brides is some of our favorite — there's a quiet drama to the way it sits across the shoulders that doesn't come through in any other length.
La Mantilla is worn differently — over the shoulders rather than from the back of the head. It falls to roughly the hem of the gown, framing the silhouette rather than trailing past it.
The structured drape is what makes it work. The lace runs continuously around the entire perimeter, anchoring the veil and giving it weight where it needs to settle.
