La Perla is the longest, most ornamental piece we make — twelve feet of French silk tulle hand-strewn with freshwater seed pearls graded one strand at a time.
It is the slowest commission in the atelier. The pearls are sewn individually, by feel rather than by chart, in clusters that thicken slightly toward the hem. The pattern is never the same twice.
Brides who choose La Perla are choosing the moment over the dress. We are honored to make them, but we will tell you honestly: this is a veil for an entrance, not a celebration. It is heavy. It is meant to be.
La Perla trails almost twice the length of the bride — twelve full feet behind you. It is the only piece in the collection that meaningfully changes the architecture of the room.
We rarely recommend La Perla unless the venue justifies it: a long aisle, a high ceiling, a setting that asks for something at this scale.
